why do I get so excited about CHA!!! I don't own a store although I wish that I did. I just love CHA and searching the web for wonderful and inspirational peeks..

Another good site is Scraptalk.com, you could spend over an hour watching their slide shows.

On the homefront the weekend was pleasant. The weather was wonderful - we actually got a chance to get out and walk!!! Back to work Monday, after a break. Well I'm off to look at more scrap stuff. Will post something more prolific tomorrow.

Oh all most forgot I got a new bookcase from IKEA (where else ) Can't wait for DH to put it together. So hoping to get my scrapspace organized so I can finally post a picture or two...

creative therapy

Well, what to do when everyone is trying to get you to rest and take it easy! Surf the internet and scrap of course. Here is an inspirational blog site I came across - she is an interior designer - won't admit to how long I spent scrolling through these photos!!!

So the color for Inspirational Wed is Green (at least I hope it is still green !!) I took this picture of my daughter last weekend. They were riding bikes and playing in the dirt (of course)

Pattern paper: Stemma, as well as the journal card, the definition is Wild Asperagus, green ink, stamp Autum leaves, bazzil flower, BG rub on, DCWV sticker (the green and white trim) my absolute favorite the KI mini alphabets

I finally was able to scrap Kira Graduation.

Supplies: Crate paper, monogram letters from Jo-ann's, A davis chipboard, Autunm leaves stamp, SEI granni stickers

This LO was just for fun. So trying to use my stash since Summer CHA is in a few days - and man have you checked out the sneek peeks!!!!!! Must use self control!

Anyway, this LO is of my girls slam dunking (with a little help from their dad)

Those flowers are from MM chipboard. The stick-on buttons I've had for ages, got them on the dollar section of my LSS - but they always come in handy. I plan on doing a layout with these pictures - My two year old doesn't want to give up the toddler bike for a big girl bike. Here she is riding right past it!!

Why you don't show a toddler where you throw away the Candy

My husband bought some flavored tootsie-rolls. Big NO! NO! Well the little one finds it in the pantry. I go thru my whole speech about no candy. So my husband passes one piece of candy to each of them and then proceeds to ceremoniously through the bag of candy into the garbage. Well you know who is watching and recording everything.

I send the kids up to take their baths. I prepare the tub and turn on the computer for the oldest one. Well the two year old takes off after I bathe the oldest one. There is nothing strange about that - she is always running off somewhere. This time she doesn't come upstairs right away. I send the oldest to find her to take a bath. Well I hear "What is in your mouth - Let me see!" You know the usual older sister banter! Well I run down stair and you guessed it - my two year old retrieved a wrapped piece of candy from the bag we tossed in the garbage and proceeded to eat it. As if nothing was wrong with what she was doing. She is so strong willed - I admired that about her but for now it's just frustrating and scary!!!!

Well I off the search the net for maturnity wear. Having such strange dreams that I am not looking forward to falling asleep.

Finally created something

I must admit I get more of a thrill shopping and thinking about scrapping than the actual work envolved. Sometimes I think I put more thought into the selection of materials, color and design. I should make a plaque for myself that read "Start Something Already!!!"

Well I did, and this is the cover of my pregnancy journal

  Did you see the stamp on the number 4, I got the stamp from Michael's (last year I think - why don't know) But isn't this cut out the cutest!!!!

The pattern paper is Crate paper, the Chipboard circle letters are Queen and Co., the ribbon are a mix of organza and grograin(I don't think that's spelled right) the flowers are bazzil and the center is a fabric brad from MM. The ribbon at the bottom is BG.

Well I mentioned that I had some LO I was working on. Here they are two of DD: Kirsten

Orange is one of my favorite colors. Every so often I will use white card stock as my background to help the pictures and PP really stand out.

This LO is titled Wonder. I used a transperancy from MM and a rub-on from American craft (which I didn't care for their rub-on at first but the mini ones seem to be better)

The PP is My minds eye (always love them) and an old die cut frame: Wild Asparagus. Don't you just love when you can mix the old with the new.

Time to get ready for our Hospital tour. It's going to feel funny because I am not showing at all - but we are trying to decide if I want to deliver at this hospital - they have updated everything since we first delivered 6 years ago and since my OB is no longer delivering babies I have to chose a new dr. (I cried when the receptionist at her office told me she is no longer doing OB!!!!)

It's Independance Day!!!

Where is a good Will Smith movie when you need it! Hopefully, I'll get to see "Knocked -up" Since it has a new significance to me.. I had to sneak away to my LSS - or else I would not be a true addict!!! right well this is what I found

These are rub-on by Rhonna Farrer. I like her digi work - but since I'm still at the bottom of the learning curve I thought rub-ons of her work would be the next best thing. Then I found this - these are Jenni Bowlin rub-on (yes I know I could just use my computer but it's so much easier to pull out a popsicle stick and rub on the letters.

I think I will use these for my pre-natal journal
