I bribed my kids with santa !

I can't believe I did it but I did! My youngest was just being way to mean and crabby. Finally, out of shear despiration I said, "Santa won't bring you any toys if you keep acting mean" to which she replied, "I want Santa to bring me toys" and then the crying stopped....

How low have I sunk! To use the benevalance of Santa for my own sanity! Well sometimes a mom has to do what a mom has to do.

On the scrapbook tip, which is what this blog is all about. I finally finished my Christmas album. I worked really hard - but I had so much fun. I got to cut and paste, glue and glitter, stamp and ink and I even thru a little diamond glaze for good measure. I tried to mix the pattern papers up. They include: BG, cosmic cricket, scenic route, MM eye transparencies, stamps, oh MM christmas line....the rest is odds and ends from the stash.

Bring on the holidays!

First I want to send out prayers to two families.

Today, I'm home with Kirsten, so I thought I would get a post in before we get going. It always seems as if when I stay home with the girls my day goes by so much faster than if I were at work. I'm have issues - not sure if it is the medication I take or stress. But I really need to get to the bottom of this. Anywhooo! I am so ready to put up my tree. I've been searching the internet for some decorating ideas (with a budjet in mind - I always go overboard) But I'm really feeling new ornaments. When I was growing up we always had a variety of ornaments. Not alot of glass balls - maybe because they broke?

So feeling crafty. I think that it is the weather... I've been baking like a Keebler elf! I even made Zuccini bread for the first time ever. I got the recipe from my co-worker's mother.. I brought in a piece for her to try and she told me it was better than her mom's - shhh! But that was a wonderful compliment... I really like when people enjoy my cooking...

My new favorite mug. I have a thing about mugs. And I really love the ones from, who else Starbucks.

I have started a 25 days of Christmas album. I am using one of my maya road chipboard albums. I found a sheet of pp with Christmas numbers on it from MM. So I am cutting the numbers out to use on each page.

I have a ton on MME transparencies. I don't know what it is about those but I just love them. Anyway. I plan to fill the album with random pictures and hopefully lots of journaling.  Just need to go to my LSS and get somemore paint.

On the photography tip. Why did I wait so long to get a telephoto lens. I bought a 28 - 105mm. It is just perfect for my indoor shots. I love my 85mm - but sometimes I have to go to the other room to take a picture.

Where have I been

Oh so much has been going on where or where do I start. Well Halloween has come and gone! Kirsten was determined to be a cat, despite the really cute Chicken outfit my coworker gave to us. So I was up sewing a cat tail.

I took some pictures this morning. Fall is quickly going away, there are more leaves on the ground than on the trees - but I so love the color...

The UPS person should be visiting me today. I am excited to be getting a new lens today. No "L" glass this time, just a basic walk around lens to replace my kits ( I hope) it is the 24- 105... Can't wait to play.

I have so many craft projects going on at once. One that I am really having fun with it the button tree. You can see example on Ail's blog.

Well I'm off to work will post soon with some projects.
